I know people have had this issue in various ways.
For me.

I have A G4 Ibook 1.33 mhz 14". Running OS 10.4.11 and have tried various versions of 10.4.

When it starts up you can hear the chime. You can hear the hard drive. The screen is gray and No wheel no face not apple no nothing.

Then it will go dim.. and then go to sleep..

I resent PRAM and NRAM .

I plugged it in to my Imac and did a firewire connection and target disk.
It mounts on my Imac fine and I can see the whole hard drive. It tested it and reinstalled software etc just fine. Ran Disk utilities. too.

The whole book seems to work great.. but I just can see nothing.

I replaced the LCD and The connectors. Both of them and reconnected them all the way to the logic board. Neither connection or LCD made a difference.

I feel I have ruled out everything except.. Except the Logic Board.

I even had the Chip Reworked at a Electronics Shop that says they fix the G3 and G4 Chip Issues..

It did not work on this issue...

Any ideas for me.
