So today, I was just looking at stuff online using firefox and got the firefox update box which happens and i always hit update. I hit update, it finished and you hit restart if i remember correctly did that and my ibook just stays at the apple screen and the spinning dashes(dont know what to call that) dont come up, just sits there. Started it in safe mode but its really to slow to do anything now, i figure ill just take off firefox and then try booting it normal.

anyone else have a problem like this?

Any Solutions?

deleting firefox in safe mode didnt work

in safe mode i scroll down in the applications folder and half way down it freezes with the rainbow pinwheel still rotating

help please

Can you boot of your OS X cd? Open up Disk utility and repair and verify the permissions.

If you your good with the terminal program. You can get to fire fox that way and delete it

ill try the cd boot

thats not the same as erasing and reinstalling is it?

and i just hold down the "C-key" correct?
