iBook G4 mid 2005 with 756 mb ram 1.42, I kept getting the beloved You need to restart...taddi yaddi in 5 languages, until I got savvy and held x on the bootup. Voila! I got in this is the first time I have ever seen the desktop on this comp my friend gave me because he owed me money, I attempted to change date and time as soon as I logged in but kernel panic screen came up on the desktop during this. no airport card installed, I have tried just about everything I have read on this site and no luck-single user mode, hold down option on bootup, etc...can anyone help me PLEASE?
edit- ibook will not start up without ac adaptor plugged in...and I guess airport is built in from what I've read, it will not bootup in safe mode either....now it seems I can only get in while it is cold and holding down -x- button
