ibook G4 keyboard on ibook g3

Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible for the new ibook g4 keyboard (12inch model) to work on the older ibook g3 (12inch) models? My keyboard is messed up a bit so I figured if I had to get a new keyboard, why not get a better one. Thanks for any help.

I don't know. Depends on if the G3's keyboard was ADB or not. I know the new ones have to be USB, but I am unsure of the G3.

Sorry, I meant the internal keyboard. I figured the ribbon would be the same? Just wondering if the dimensions are the same? Anyone know.

i acctually prefer my ibooks keyboard to my sisters ibook g4 one her one seems cheap and tacky while mine is made from nicer plastic, which ibook do you have? pre or post 700MHz? (they changed the case)
