iBook G4 Problems

Hi ! Before I begin, excuse me for me english, I usually speak French !

Here we go ...

I have an iBook G4 and..

-It is getting hot quikly
-It's getting very slow and I don't know why either
-I'm not able to uninstall an application, I'd like to know how can I erase all file that stay in my computer.

How long have you had this iBook? Am curious to know if it's unusual behavior or different from another computer you recently owned?

Can you describe what's slow? All tasks, or just specific programs?

All tasks are getting slow... For example, I wanna switch from iTunes to Mozilla... It will take easily 10 sec or more to do the switch... It's very annoying. The litlle round with colors spin and I wait...

Do you have admin rights to delete the files?

I think so... but I don't even know how to search theses files on my computer. Well I know how to search files with «Finder» but I don't know where the missing files are cached on my iBook... I followed instructions from the web, but there are some files that I didn't erase, and there is always a «Warning» when I turn on my computer to say that the demo is finished, and I have to buy the program.

I have my iBook G4 for... let say, one year and a half. Theses problems appeared like 2 months ago, but the «slowly thing» is getting very annoying now, it' getting worst and worst and worst.....

Sounds like any number of things...

Any odd noises coming from the HDD?
Did you make sure the RAM is still seated properly?
Have you tried a clean install of the system to see if that helps?

I only hear the fan noise when my iBook's getting hot
I don't know how to seated properly my RAM
No I don't have tried a clean install of the system, how can I do this ?

The message of the programm when I turn on my computer says :

But I have uninstalled this program ( Internet Cleanup Application) ... so How can I stop having this message when I turn on my computer ??
