Napoli, city of sun and pizza!
I have this weird problem happening recently to my iBook g4: if I close the lid it will go to sleep as always, but just one second after it wakes up, and then goes to sleep again , and then it wakes up over and over again. What's the problem? How can I solve this? Thank you everyone in advance ! :)

Sounds like it could be a faulty hall sensor / sleep reed switch. Or, possibly a key on the keyboard is being pressed in while the lid is closed causing it to wake up and go back to sleep. Try removing the internal keyboard, boot up and close the lid to see if it might be a keyboard related issue.

Turn off Bluetooth.

So guys, I believe I found the reason.. I feel so stupid for not having thought of it before.. It was my usb mouse plugged in. If I unplug it and then close the lid, it won't wake up until I open it again. LOL

Thanks everybody :D

That’ll do it! If you plugin a mini-vga adapter and connect a display along with your mouse and keyboard then it will operate in “clamshell” mode allowing you to use the iBook like a desktop machine. The internal display will be switched off and all vram will be allocated for the external display.
