hi,
I have an iBook G4 that I bought in December of 2004. It still works pretty well considering its age, but sometimes when I'm watching video on youtube, playing a game that I downloaded or playing a dvd, the screen goes blank. I'd think it was just turning off but if you look closer the screen is actually colored black, not off. Also, if music or sound was originally playing, it stutters like a broken record. I usually just press the power button til it shuts off, and turn it on again. This doesn't happen every time, but let's say if I use my computer for 5 hours, it'll definitely happen at least once.
Obviously it's pretty close to the end of its life, but honestly it works quite well although a bit slow. I'd really like to use it til I really can't anymore, and I'm wondering what is happening and how I can fix it-- and if it'll be worth the money to fix.
Thanks so much
