Hi there I did do some searching of the forum, and have not found an answer yet
I have an iBook G4, 930 mHz, gig of ram running 10.4.11
A jerk dropped my mactop while it was running. Now I does not go past the grey apple screen and the spokes just keep on turnin.
I used the hardware checker disk, said no hardware problems
I used disk utility, but don't really know what I'm doing there (booting from Install disk)
My drive mounts (at least I see it listed)
With Disk utility open, I go to file > "open disk image" I see all my files there (only greyed out)
I hope I"m providing enough info.
thanks for any help. I think I might have to get the data of this drive, and get a new drive
or what other things can happen when people drop a your laptop?
thomas
