ibook G4 wont startup

A week ago my ibook was updated w/ leopard OS.10...It froze today while I was on firefox...now when I went to restart it all I get is a blue backround w/ a finder symbol on a picture of a folder w/ a ? flashing....

wut should I do???

do you hear any clicking noises? Try starting up from the OS disk and see if it sees your HD. The folder with the question mark means that it can't find a startup folder, so either you HD is dead or somthing got corrupted and it can't boot from it.

Yea there is a weird clickin noise...but should I put in the leopard OS disk or the ibook G4 hardware test disk that came w/ the computer...or the OS version 10.3.5 install disk...

your HD is probably dead but try the leopard instal disk and go to disk utility and see if it recognizes your HD it probalby would not hurt to run the hardware test as well.

I put in the ibook G4 hardware test disk and it says: ^^^ERRORCODE^^^ 25TF/1/4...wut does this mean???
