Is a iBook G4 worth buying now?

I can get one for £198, the specs are here:

PPC G4 1.07 Ghz
768MB RAM
40GB HDD
OS X Leopard
Superdrive
Internal Bluetooth
Comes with software: iLife, iWork, iWork 09 suites

Thoughts?

How sought after are these things now?

Thanks

I wouldn't, unless you just want to run some old software. Even the browsers that will run on those are getting less useful. At this point, unless you need a PPC, I wouldn't get anything that doesn't have an Intel processor.

Hmm, would Photoshop work on it? Are these machines sought after? Hmm, I want one as it's a Mac but it's old :(

I wouldn't describe them as "sought-after", no. PhotoShop would only run if you had an older version (not sure what the latest version that would run is). I doubt it would run very well on that machine, but it'd be somewhat useable.

Problem is, if there's a fault with the iBook, it'd cost me too much money.

I really want this, as it's going to my only chance to own a PPC Mac :(
