ibook hardrive transfer to macbook?

howdy, i recently got my ibook replaced on insurance and am now the owner of a shiny standard macbook.
however, i managed to get the company to return my ibook hardrive (12", g4, 80gb), is there any way to transfer the data on to my new laptop?

By an external enclosure for it and then connect it via FW or USB.

thats what i did

works so good plus u can format the disk and u have an extra however many
GB
