Can you say Chi-City??
the issue i'm having is with an 1.2 iBook G4 running 10.3.9. lately, there have been complaints (i'm not the one who uses it) about waking from sleep. after examining the issue and then subsequently zapping PRAM and resetting the PMU, i still am having the following problem:

one the lid is closed, the iBook will go to sleep. when the lid is opened, it still stays sleeping (which did not used to be the case). furthermore, neither keystrokes, moving the trackpad, or clicking the trackpad will wake the iBook. the only thing that works is holding the power button down for a second or so.

did something happen within the OS preferences to do this, or can is there a hardware problem? help would be appreciated...thanks.

Try tapping on the case near the battery and see if that wakes it up. The lid switch may be failing.
