Hello MacRumors, I have a problem on my hands. I recently puchased an iBook indigo and it came with OSX 10.0 on it. I didn't very well like it, so i got an old OS9 disc out and tried to install it. i couldn't get it to work, so i dragged the 'System' folder out of the cd onto the root of my HD. i then set it as my starup folder. Now it doesn't boot up at all it just shows a ? and a finder symbol back and forth and, i can't boot from anything but an old ubuntu CD and it doesnt boot right either. Help?

10.0 is indeed an icky system. Grab a 10.2 install disk on ebay for cheap - you can reformat the HD from that and end up with a decent OS.
