ibook kernal panic

I have recently bought an iBook G3 indigo clamshell off ebay.It came with os 9 and os x Tiger , but alot of the time when i start up tiger it goes into kernal panic and i have to restart where it panics again :/ what could it be? and how could i fix it?

Buy a new computer.

Buy a new computer. You have bought a iBook. Those don't work with any current software developers and Kernel Panics are untouchable unless it boots up with no kernel panic because you don't have a warranty. Just but a Macbook.
