This has been a persistant problem since I've gotten the computer. Whenever I press the "~" key several times under normal usage, the key will pop up. Can I get a replacement keyboard from Apple for this problem? I bought it from SDSU in December 05' and never got the Applecare extended warranty, although when I put my serial number in the Apple website it says it's out of warrenty. SDSU was selling all the older model iBooks for cheap so it still shows up as 20 Months old, and it was bought new.

Maybe talk to SDSU about getting a replacement keyboard or something. I imagine they'd just replace the key, not the entire board though (assuming they do anything at all). :)

SDSU is a college though and I highly doubt they would help me, but I've never been there. They do have the Apple Store on campus, do you think that they would have the replacement parts?
