Ibook making noise

My ibook 1.33 12" is making annoying buzzing noises. Every once and a while i get an annoying buzz sound, its not very loud but is pretty annoying because it happens all the time. Does any one else have a similar problem?

My old ibook g4 800mhz almost never made a a noise.

nope, no noise here. it might help if you can tell us where the buzzing is coming from.

sounds like the processor, its coming from the left side of the ibook.

if I remember right, the processor is somewhere around the "3" key. However, I dont think there is a fan on the processor itself. My guess is it might be the hard drive, which is under your left wrist area (right by the air intake on the left side of the book

sound like the processor i think. I wont even be doing anything on the computer but i can hear the processor start going, followed by a short bzzzzzz. It happens pretty much every 10 seconds. Not very loud but just annoying since my old 800mhz g4 was silent.
