iBook microphone??? is there even one?

I have an iBook G3 Clamshell Key Lime and i cannot find any recording feature. Is there even a microphone or do i need to do some funky hack to make it work? please let me know. Thanks

The original clamshells didn't have a microphone, and, as far as I know, they didn't address that issue in the whole clamshell line.

No, unfortunately.

The iBook does not have a microphone or sound input jack. The USB port does support a USB microphone to allow for sound input into the iBook.

All white iBook G3 and iBook G4 computers have a built-in microphone.
