iBook/Powerbook trackpad scrolling

Just had a newbie question.

If you try to do the two finger scrolling near the left and right edges of the trackpad, it won't work, right?

I just tried and I could do it on the right side, but not the left.

Hmm.

Well, is it really that big of a problem? just move your fingers the .0003 of an inch to the middle.

On my PB it seems to work on either side, anywhere, as long as I use two fingers. I really like this feature - beats the usual Windows trackpad scrolling for sure.

I don't have that problem with my PowerBook... maybe there's something wrong with your fingers?

I'm thinking the censor for the trackpad is in the middle, so if my fingers go to the very left/right edge of the trackpad, the signal from my fingers gets weaker and that's why it doesn't work well, compared to if I do it in the center of the trackpad.
