HEy guys i drained my battery last n ight on my ibook and now ive plugged it up for recharge and wont turn on. is this normal? should it recharge fully before its able for use?

Try taking the battery out and using the AC power without the battery. If it starts up then, you can put your battery back in and charge it up.

This happens because sometimes when you use your computer until it dies, the power manager chip can get corrupted. Removing the battery from the unit can clear the chip. If your iBook has a reset switch, then can help as well.
