What is the best way to get rid of iBook scratches? and also on the white part of my iPod

The iKlear package from Apple will buff them right out.

It's overpriced, but worth it to see your iBook look like new, again!

iKlear is really more of a polish, if the scratches are deep, you might as well just deal with them. For small scratches on my ipod, I actually used CD scratch-remover because I allready had some, and it really worked nicely.

Go to your local wal-mart, k-mart, auto store, etc........Grab a can of turtle wax, follow the instructions for the car, use it on your ibook. It will shine like new! I have found that auto detailing products can come in handy on the awsome case designs from apple.

War wounds.

When I travle with my iTang I get complements.
At every airport I get at least one person that looks at it and says, "Wow, it must be a good computer. Looks like its seen the world."

I keep it in a sleeve and a good case, but it still receives superficial wounds now and then. Battle scars give it charcter.

Very nicely said. However, I want my iBook to look like a super model for as long as possible. When it starts to sag and it's teeth fall out I'll deal with it, but until then - Plastic Surgery, compliments of any product that can pull off miracles.

Yea, I'd be careful about using the wrong product for the problem.

My parents were so happy when I bought my Jeep. My father looked at it and said, "You wanted this since you were 4. I'm glad to see you'll have one enjoyable car in your life." They bought me some car care products, and I accidentally waxed the black hardtop. It took me weeks to buff out the wax. There are spots that still have a bit of a gray tone to them.

From early Rollerblad instructions
1.) Always read the instructions.
2.) Always scate in control.
...

Screwed up on that one also.

I was quite the road warrior. My advice: Don’t get a laptop bag it just invites theft. Choose a good bag, that dosn't hurt your back when filled, and if you can stand it- choose a bright color. (If somebody trys to walk off with your bag, like at an x-ray check, you can easly describe your bag, "That guy just grabed my red bag.") Get a good neoprene sleeve and a laptop insert for your bag. Don’t leave home with out extra batteries and clean your screen with kind and gentle products. If you must pet a burning dog wash your hands before you begin typing. ;)

Novus plastic polish works pretty well for me. Some scratches are stubborn, but it's still well worth it. I use the #2 polish first to get scratches out, then the #1 for shine and smoothness.

I don't know where you can get Novus... I got mine on e bay.
