I have an old iBook 1ghz iBook when I put Leopard on it I started hearing a squeaking sound... I removed the DVD as fast as I could but it was too late. As for replacing or fixing the DVD I posed on Mac OS X forum. But for the iBook is this a common problem. Is there a fix. This iBook is rarely used and well off warrantee.
