1) When I have my G4 iBook plugged in with the power settings to be on all the time (eg: do NOT put hard disk(s) to sleep when possible), it goes to sleep by the time I wake up. When that happens, I am at the OS X logon screen, and my personality was logged out. What gives?

2) Sometimes when I close the lid, and open it up sometime later, I get my the screen to enter my password (yeah, the security one), then it goes right back to sleep! Then when I re-awake it, it works fine. What is the deal?!

Sounds to me like you have the "Log out after X minutes of inactivity" option set in the Security section of System Preferences.

This will automatically log you out after you haven't used your mac for a certain amount of time and then it's going to sleep from the Main screen. Check that out and see.

Mine does the same thing. I'm not quite sure why but I'm pretty sure it only happens when I am using the screensaver?
