iBook Square image

I am trying to create an iBook using iPhoto '11.

One of my images that I want in the book is square.

I want it to be the only image on a page, but the IBook software automatically fills the rectangular page with the image thus cutting off the top and bottom of the square image.

Is there a way to have a square image in an iBook?
