iBook to Powerbook Upgrade Problems...

I am upgrading from an old iBook to a new Powerbook, and I've used the Firewire transfer to pull all my old info off. On the new system, now all the Microsoft Office products crash (they start up then immediately crash), as does iTunes. I've even downloaded iTunes and it does the same thing. Help!

The weird thing is I've done this on several desktops and have never had a problem.

Can I recommend a clean install? I know, it's probably not the best route, but you're guaranteed a nicely integrated and nicely working machine.

yeah, that migration assistant's rather sketchy.. don't trust it, just do a clean install.

it's annoying to do, but it will save you a lot of hiccups in teh future.
