I have a choice between an 12" 867Mhz PowerBook or a 12" 1.2Ghz iBook. Which one would you say is the better deal? The iBook has 512MB of RAM, other than that stock. The PowerBook has the same.

I would go with the iBook,I have owned both...The iBook has a faster CPU,larger L2 cache(256 vs 512),better video card, higher RAM capacity (iBook 1.25GB vs PowerBook 640MB),better Airport reception and its allot more durable.

False. Powerbook 1.12 GB RAM.

Apart from that the iBook will be the better joice.

Same with the others... as much as i love the PB.. the iBook has the better value. If you really want the PB.. just get a refurb model from apple.com or some other site. I think i remember seeing microcenter.com had one for 1099
