I was burning a dvd using toast. Shut it down and then wanted to burn again, but it wouldnt recognize my external firewire drive. Usually I just unplug it then plug it back in but it didnt work this time. I tried my usb mouse and it wasnt working either. 
I had to reboot for them to get connected again. My drive is a bytecc(cheap) enclosure and the drive is nec 16x. my mouse was purchased with my iBook from apple just a month ago. has anyone else had this problem?
