iBooks Author Crashes upon opening iba file only in Yosemite

Files and resources for my ibook open fine on a macbook running OS X Mavericks. (unfortunately, this is my wife's computer running mavericks)

Files and resources are saved in dropbox and on local dropbox folders.

Files going from Yosemite to Mavericks open fine.
Crashing occurs when opening files for my book created in Mavericks.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling iBooks Author in Yosemite.
I have also made a copy of the file on another machine and changed the file name in Mavericks but it still crashes in Yosemite.

I have the following error

Its a problem with the fonts

Try to change all fonts to arial while working under Mavericks. Save book and try to open it unter Yosemite.
