iBooks' books' covers are not being updated

I have some books downloaded from iBooks which their cover have been updated in the iBooks Store. The book content has been updated but the book cover sremained the same.

I have tried to delete and redownload it but it says the same. Is there a way to force the app to get the book's updated cover?

I'm looking also for this answer. When I downloaded the Swift Programming Language book, it was as soon as it was released that displayed a cover with a torn page but, a few weeks after it changed in the iBooks Store with a red bird logo.

I have tried almost everything you mentioned and haven't been able to update to the new cover.
