after upgrading, ibooks has the error 'There is a problem with the configuration of your iPhone. Please restore with iTunes or re-download iBooks'

i re downloaded, but really dont want to have to restore my phone, is there anything else i can do? I am jailbroken btw

Same issue for me. Here's a link to a fix, along with a cydia application to do this for you automatically:

I've not tried this yet, since my iPad isn't with me.
 
OK I finally found a fix that works!


Hey i just find out how to get ibooks to work on iphone4 5.0.1 unthetered with redsnow
very simple : get rid off the original ibook.app (you dont need the original ibooks.app)
install iBooks Fix for iOS5 from Xsellize , install or use your existing sbsettings from cydia and run Fix User Dir Permissions, respring und you have working iBooks again!

This is after trying all fixes found on the internet!
