iBooks crashes on launch after Time Machine restore

I clean-erase-restored my Mac (after experiencing some hardware issues). Everything is now back to normal, except for iBooks, which crashes (report attached) immediately on launch, with the error:

Code: 
*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: 'Invalid parameter not satisfying: _managedObjectModel'

After the restore, I reinstalled Yosemite (10.10 DP 8), ran Repair Disk, etc., but with the same result. Any ideas?
