IBooks crashing iPad 2, 4.3.3 using jailbreakme.com?

Help I have the game of thrones bundle and it's one huge book. Pretty dumb but anyways it worked on my iPad 2 but constantly crashed my iPhone.
So now I can't read it at all and it was 30 bucks! I think it's too large a file for the iPhone 4 too handle because other books work.

Hmmm..not having any issues with my iPad or iPhone.. Try deleting iBooks and re-installing.. And then re sync your books ? Not sure

.. Hope it helps.. It's not crashing my iPad, but iBooks crashes a few seconds after it starts. It will be interesting to see if deleting and reinstalling iBooks solves your problem.

Yea that's what meant jus iBooks crashes and it still does but it still won't work with my game of thrones bundle but other sample books work and PDF books.
So who knows hopefully a fix will be up on cydia soon.

Don't know if this is still the case, but after jailbreaking iOS 4.2 the iBooks app would check to see if it could run unsigned code/if the idevice was jailbroken when you launched the app. If iBooks detected the jailbreak, the app would display an error message saying you needed to restore/update your device and then crash or close if I remember correctly. Could this be similar? Like I said before I don't know if this has changed since iOS 4.2 and whatever iBooks version was out in that timeframe.

It's only the game of thrones bundle book that crashes I think because it's so big to open it all at once but it worked before I jailbroke so I don't what's up.

I would highly suggest trying to load that on stanza instead and see if it works. App is free anyway

I'm having a problem with going into the iBook store, I can read the books that I have fine, but can't go to the store.
UPDATE: Ok, after some searching, it looks like when I downloaded "Rich Mail Txt" it also included "Action Menu" and apparently the Action Menu was causing some issue. I deleted Rich Mail and Action Menu and all is well again. I'm sorry I didn't go into more explanation as to why there was a conflict or problem, I'm new to Jailbreak scene..

Action Menu was causing the problem for me. Once I deleted it my ibooks stop crashing. I love this forum and forums like this one. I would be lost without them.
I've experienced the same problem too on my iPad 2. I used jailbreakme to JB the device and had a couple problems. One was a fix needed for TWCable app 2.0 and then the ibook crashing. I too have the GOT book bundle and was working fine until the JB. I've tried everything and been searching for a solution with no luck. I don't think it has to do with it's file size. I thought that perhaps my bookmarks and notes were corrupted but still couldn't find where that data was. In the end, i've been seeing people with similar problems so it must be the jailbreak/DRM issue. Hopefully someone will get a fix. Sucks.
