Seems they need to update the iOS 8 version as they have changed it everywhere else...

Notice that the iOS 8 version has straight top and bottom whilst the Yosemite one has curved. Same for bookmarks icon in Yosemite.

They need to change the icon for iBooks already! All the pictures of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus show the updated icon. Those phones release in less than a week and we still have the old icon.
