When i delete iTunes related files, it stuffs up opening iBooks.. they are iTunes files because there filename is "itunes" NOT "iBooks"

Can someone point me to the files needed to recover iBooks ? As i really do not want to reinstall OS X just of this app.. Since i can copy these files from 10.9.5 VM to the root directory on the host if needed.

Apple tells me because there is tight integration with the iBook store within itunes, however u can reinstall iTunes ok... so why not iBooks ? Its not a core app, its just an application.... Browsers i would understand having tight integration... and besides, u can still launch the ibooks store from within itunes, just not from the app since it cannot open.

Doing a DU repair does not help. Any help to resolve this apart from reinstalling the OS?

nevermind.... Fixed...

I just copied the iTunesLibrary.framework bundle into Macintosh HD/Library/Frameworks and the app opens :)
