iBooks lost all my Collections

Ever since the upgrade to Yosemite iBooks on my Mac has no "Collections."
Feedback entries to Apple have gone ignored on this.
My Collections are still on my iPad and iPhone, but NOT my Mac. Shouldn't Synchronizing with iTunes also sync iBook "Collections"? And, boy will I be TICKED OFF if Apple makes it sync from the Mac to the iPad, and overwrite the ones I have there with NOTHING!!
