Ibooks not sorting notes in order

I recently got a I pad mini 4, my first apple product! Really happy thus far, I used it as a e book reader a lot and I noticed in i books when you highlight all the notes and export them to e mail, the notes are in random order. When I look back on the books I read, I want them to be in the order that I read them.

Surely this must be a glitch or a fix to this? I'm running the newest OS too.

If someone else has a quick minute can you check if your i books also does the same. Also is there an option to sort through chronological order.

After talking to support techs who couldn't solve the problem and being transferred to senior support, they were unable to solve the problem. Whenever you highlight apps and go to notes instead of appearing in chronological order, they appear RANDOMLY. This looks like a fatal error in the ibooks app.
