I'm going a bit crazy. I am building a book using iBooks Author, and it says that I can preview my book by hooking my iPad up to my computer and turning on iBooks. Well, naturally it is not that simple. My research says that I must have iBooks 2 in order to see the preview, I can't find iBooks 2 in the app store. So, is it possible to put iBooks 2 on the original iPad? Thanks to anyone who knows!

iBooks 2 refers to the latest version of the iBooks app. It's not a separate app called "iBooks 2".

If you already have iBooks installed on your original iPad, then just go into the App Store and update it. IIRC, it came out a month or so ago, so you've probably already done that.
