Running the most publicly available of OS X and iOS and I was wondering if there was a way to transfer my iBooks to a kindle and how would I go about doing that?

Thanks

Nor can you transfer Kindle to iBooks or transfer any DRMed to any other DRMed since all are proprietary. So it is not a Apple limitation.

Nope, you need to find what ebooks platform that works best and stick with that.. You cannot send iBook formatted books over to your kindle.

I use the Amazon Kindle app simply because it works well for me. I find it easier to have wish list/order via Amazon. However, if a book is not available on Amazon I do check iBooks.

Apple has an excellent ecosystem for most everything one wants to do.

Mainly because I have other platforms besides Apple, my choice is to use the excellent Kindle App, and eBook system. I buy the book once and it is readily accessible via my iDevices, Androids, and all my computers.

Amazon hit a home run with Kindle.
