So I have ios 4 on my iPod 2nd Gen MC model, and I was wondering about iBooks. I can't find it on my iPod. In iTunes when I search for it, it shows up as an iPad app and there isn't one for iPhone/iPod touch. So how do I find it for my iPod? (Sorry if this sounds like a nooby question)

That was the first thing I searched for. I'm running the Gold version and I don't see it. I was hoping I can find it in the Apps store today, no luck. Or maybe I'm looking at wrong place.

I've noticed that if you click here then look at the title bar or tab (I forget what its called) then it says "iBooks for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad" but the app itself is still only for the iPad

Well I found it in my app store, but when I tap it, this is what comes up.

Edit: I have more success to report (well in a way) I can now download it, but it does not finish, it says to use iTunes on your PC. I tried that but on the iTunes store on the PC it still just says for iPad. I'll update this post when it's available so that everyone can know that its there!

Also it says that you must own an iPad to use iBooks. Is this true?

Final edit: iBooks is now available for download. Although it's kind of sluggish

Got it here; first try I ended up with the iPad app (1.0.1), but the second time I got the iBooks 1.1.
