Hi all and apologies if this is in the wrong section - I wasn't sure where to put it.

I can't seem to find an answer to a question which I suspect I am not alone in asking. How do you submit eBooks to the iBookstore if you are in the UK? When I try to do so, it asks for a US tax number, which I don't have. anyone had any success with this?

Thanks in advance.

Probably similar to submitting an app: you have to call the US tax authorities and get a number. There's a guide for app store developers somewhere...

Did you get the number?

Robbie,

Did you get the phone number? I downloaded form SS-4 from the IRS web site somewhere and filled it in. The phone number is on that form somewhere. They let me fax the completed form to them while on the phone and they gave me an EIN straight away, and followed it up with a postal confirmation a few weeks later.

Cheers,
Robin

That sounds like what I did. It was a few years ago now!
