Hi people,

The display of my (new 2nd hand) iphone 4 is not working, and I think I found out why: There's a SMD component missing on the display connector.

Anyone into electronics who can tell me what this part is? Some kind of transistor kind of thing? And then the next question would be.... can I replace it? (ofcourse I can, but with what?)

Thanks, bridged the contacts but still a fade to white on startup alas.... must be something else wrong. I navigated to the phone with help of xcode screenshots but I saw it also doesn't recognize wifi spots. that could mean trouble...
