iCal 3 quits/crashes upon startup

I upgraded to 10.5 yesterday and have not been able to access iCal. I click on the dock and the icon bounces and ical will open for less than a second and then quits or crashes. I have looked on apple/support and have helvetica neue in the correct folder, I have trashed the preferences and have restarted. I have also tried starting from the applications folder instead of the icon in the dock.

Anyone else having this problem? ANyone fixed this problem, I really need to see my calendar.
