iPod touch iCal add events?

Was this fixed in the new "pay-for" patch? Can you now add calendar events to the iPod Touch calendar?

I believe this was fixed in 1.1.2, a free update.

The only non-app things the pay-for upgrade adds is lyric display and the ability to re-organize home screen icons.
