ical alarms not alarming enough

can anybody tell me if it is possible to add different sound effects for ical to use, the ones that ship are so lame, or a bit too minimalist for me, I need something that grabs my attention.

Once you've followed the instructions above to add your own sounds they should then be available to iCal or any other application that let's you choose an alert sound.
