iCal - all new entries created as all-day events.

I'm not sure how to help you but have you tried googling? This forum has been extremely busy with the release of Lion with TONS of folks posting questions on how to do things. I'm sure your thread got pushed to the bottom of the forum and didn't get read by many. Hopefully someone will be able to help you!

Using quick add (the + symbol) you can easily schedule a time for events. "Meet with Bob on Friday from 8am to 10am". Additionally, in weekly view you can drag over a time to create an event during.
