iPod iCal and iPod

I want to use iCal to setup a reminder at 9:30 to wake me up.

The thing is, I don't want iCal to display the reminder. I just want my iPod to make the beep to tell me to wake up. I don't want iCal to make any noise because, well, the lid on my laptop will be closed.

So, Mac people, assist please.

THere will just be a reminder from iCal when you open the lid, I think. It will sync just fine to your iPod as long as you have your iPod set to sync up with iCal.

why not sync to the iPod than turn off the alarm in iCal

Why not just set the alarm on the iPod itself? It has an alarm clock in it.
