iCAl and My Email address

Hi - I'm trying to create an event in iCal and invite attendeed but I get an alert saying I need to create my email in OSX Address Book. I'm already in there and I've even recreated myself - still no luck.

There must be a link somewhere in preferences of otherwise of iCAL to link my email to it - but can't find it . Any advice appreciated

does your card in address book have a black silhouette icon and a designation as 'me' on you cards picture. Mine does and i have never had this problem. i only sudjest this because maybe somehow you have just created yourself as a regular contact rather than the computer owner

Yes - managed to set the card as Me and it works - still a strange new world
