iCal Calendar List Disappeared from MacBook Pro

Hi,
Recently updated to latest OSX Sierra on MacBook Pro and now the Calendar list is missing when I open the list up on my Mac (just an empty side window). All the calendars are still propagating on the Calendar and the list is still there on my iPad and iPhone. Because I can't see the list on the left when I open the Calendar pane I can't change any characteristics or add/delete calendars using MacBook Pro, I can still enter and edit events. Any suggestions, haven't found anything on web search.
