At first, my e71 managed to sync perfectly with iCal using iSync.
Somehow, one my iCal calendar got corrupted and newly created events and to do items wouldn't sync anymore.
Tried to reset iSync sync history & sync devices but it doesn't work.
Even hard resetting mobile phone but it still doesn't work.
SOLUTION
(Must sure you back-up iCal calendars plus
your Address Book before proceeding!!!)
You need to hard reset both iSync & iCal.
Go to finder and delate:
User/home/library/calendar/(delate all Calendar Cache files)
User/home/library/Application Support/iSync/(delate all .db files)
User/home/library/Application Support/SyncSevices/ (delate Local folder)
Restart computer
Start up iSync (this might take a few seconds)
Add Devise (if your old mobile devise icon can't be seen)
Sync Devices
All your calendars & to do list should be sync again
