Our office uses iCal. Three people with three cloud accounts sharing multiple calendars. Suddenly two of the three cloud accounts have reverted to default calendar colors on the iMac and iCloud. Viewing from iPad or iPhone seem fine. If you change them back on iMac or iCloud, it returns to default upon sync.

I found a work around in another post. I exported each calendar, created a new calendar with a similar name, imported each calendar back into the corresponding new calendar and deleted the old. It appears to work across all the devices and the color hasn't changed back to the default. (Yet.)
This has been happening to me! I will try your work around.
I'm also having iPhoto problems where photos are just chaning into other photos (ie duplicating and deleting the original) and also mac Mail problems where emails with attachments are dissappearing and not being delivered!
