iCal Dock Icon Glitch

What's up everybody. I was wondering if anybody out there may know why this is happening to my iCal dock icon. When the app is not running, the date on the icon is displaced by like 15px, then when it is launched, the date goes back to the correct position. Check it out:

I know it's a relatively minor issue, but this kinda stuff gets to me. Any help would be great, thanks!
 
malfunctioning iCal icon

My icon has also become buggy with the upgrade to 10.6.5. When it is not open, the icon is completely transparent except for where it says the month and day (it is a floating "Nov" and "12"). however, as soon as I open iCal the problem fixes itself? Any ideas on this too?
